3 years and 8 months after her first seizure Lettie died peacefully at Princess Alice. Lettie squeezed every drop of life out of each phase of her illness not wanting to speculate what the next phase may bring. She was still planning what she was going to cook next Christmas weeks before she died in May. The end came relatively swiftly which we must celebrate. Lettie was a very special person and touched many deeply. The massive crator left by her death will never be filled. However, she taught me to love unconditionally and showed me how to live every moment to the full. This is a brief sketch of the life lived by my beautiful daughter and as I continue to reel from her death I try to hold onto the lessons for life she taught me.
